We are developing our central commissioning function, and broadening its scope to include commissioning of special education needs (SEN) placements.

 

Do you have experience in working with SEN commissioning already, or have you been working as a SEN Case Worker?

We have short term (12mth) opportunities available within our Operational Commissioning Team.

 

The team, based at our Shute End offices, are responsible for commissioning placements for vulnerable adults and children across a number of different provisions, including: residential, nursing care, supported living, fostering services, post 16 and educational placements.

 

You will ensure that the wellbeing of adults and children are at the centre of all placement decisions to ensure we are meeting need and delivering the best outcomes; whilst achieving value for money.

 

You will provide advice and support to brokerage services on all aspects of commissioning and market knowledge concerning possible suitable providers as well as lead the commissioning process for more complex cases and groups of service users.
