Casual Tutor Adult Education
Salary: £24.13 per hour teaching rate / £18.03 per hour admin and training rate
Location: Multiple locations around Wokingham
Working Pattern: Part Time/Flexible Hours

Wokingham Adult Education is looking to recruit experienced sessional tutors to deliver non accredited short community learning courses to adults from a range of community locations across the Borough and also online via Zoom. Tutors are expected to plan, deliver and assess their courses in consultation with the Community Learning Coordinator.
We are looking to expand the range of expertise within our pool and are particularly interested to hear from people who are able to teach:
- Introduction to social care
- Family Learning including support for parents of anxious teenagers or how to support teenagers academically
- Healthy Eating for children or adults
- ICT including beginners Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Introduction to digital skills for beginners
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in adult education at level 3 or above and must have English and Maths qualifications at level 2 or above. Additionally candidates will be expected to have considerable experience or qualifications to level 3 in their subject area
