The NEET Prevention Team works with young people 16-18 and up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs to support them to engage in employment, education or training. This includes offering individual careers guidance and support, supporting young people to complete CVs and application forms and confirming the destinations of young people.
The Adult Education team is responsible for delivering a range of short adult education courses across the borough.
We are looking to strengthen the team by recruiting an apprentice tracker who will take responsibility for contacting young people and learners using a variety of methods including phone, email and social media to confirm their employment status and record outcomes on a database. you will also offer information and support to young people, while referring those in need of additional support to colleagues.
you will undertake a level 2 apprenticeship in Custormer Service
The successful candidate will have
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good standard of written skills
- Genuine interest in providing excellent customer service
- An interest in working with young people.
