We have a fantastic opportunity for an Asset Manager to join the councils wholly owned, Registered provide of Housing, Loddon Homes on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a small, local, Registered Provider of Social Housing, we set the bar high for housing provision in Wokingham Borough. We are entering a new era as an industry and as a provider. Many of our properties are now reaching ten years old and we want to create the foundations for how we manage our assets in the short, medium and long term.

We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager that can oversee the day-to-day asset management of our portfolio of 300 homes and plan for our future investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive asset management experience
  • You can confidently consider, create and implement a long-term asset management plan
  • You’re knowledgeable about changing building safety regulations for social housing providers
  • You have a proven track record of managing large scale asset management projects, budgets and timelines
  • You can demonstrate the flexibility to adapt asset management strategies across a range of tenures, including supported, general needs, and leasehold housing.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with Managing Agents effectively
  • You’re a great communicator – verbal and written with all stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree and/or post graduate qualification in a relevant subject
  • A housing qualification to a minimum of CIH Level 4 or equivalent, or a commitment to work towards this
  • Excellent digital/ICT skills and confidence to incorporate digital transformation
  • A driving license and access to a car
  • Experience of working within local government and a political environment would be desirable
