Wokingham Borough Council have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Officer to join our expanding Energy Team.

Working within the Energy Team you will have a key responsibility for ensuring that we deliver energy reducing projects within our properties. Energy reduction is a major component of our climate emergency ambitions, with a stated target of net zero by 2030.

The succesful candidate will need to understand energy reduction opportunities and measures and will need to evidence key project management skills. Our property portfolio includes all Council assets and some external properties. 

You will be responsible to the Energy Manager and will also assist with key projects / schemes, as well as help with the general work of the team. This includes ; Energy billing, monitoring energy use, legislative compliance and targetting energy reduction.
