Wokingham has a clear ambition that services should be locally focused and responsive to the needs of residents and business. As part of this we have brought environmental health functions back in-house from April 2022.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Environmental Heath Officer who will be focused on pollution control, complex noise and statutory nuisance cases, planning consultations, contaminated land as well as private sector housing and mobile home licensing. You will be expert in Environmental Protection as that is where the need is greatest, and competent to undertake private sector housing work as well if required.
