Void/Tenancy Officer to Cover Maternity Leave
The Neighbourhood and Communities Department are responsible for maintaining approximately 2600 properties across the borough of Wokingham, and within this department the Voids team are responsible for all void management, repairs, mutual exchanges and tenancy changes.
The voids team currently have a vacancy for a full time Void/Tenancy Officer to cover maternity leave on a six month contract. The role will include the following tasks:
- managing the nomination process
- conducting property viewings
- conducting tenancy sign-ups
- manage our mutual exchange process from application to tenancy assignment
- managing tenancy changes
We are looking for candidates who have had previous social housing experience including a sound knowledge of housing law relating to tenancies and mutual exchanges so that the tasks can be picked up as quickly as possible.
